Keep the joy and preserve the past.

Our journey to stewarding Kona Kona at the historic Point of Pines for generations to come begins. We are so grateful to the Kirkholm, Dewey and owners before who have held special the magic of this place.

The goal is pretty simple - joy exists here. We exist for pause in a world that speeds up. We exist for a return to nature, moonlight and dark skies filled with infinite stars. We exist for long coffee mornings and gut wrenching laughter around the campfire. As the world speeds up, we chose the other way. Kona means “a place of shelter” - and that is our goal…to continue to give shelter to the good things - family togetherness, jumping off the dock and keeping “lake week” special for all in the generations ahead. This is a place where stories become lore and a return to slow always remains for those of us lucky enough to know it exists.

It’s the tradition of “lake week” we want to keep alive.

As kids, we grew up with pop-up camper and the kitchen sink in tow for a week at the lake. We returned year after year to reunite with new found lake week friends . We woke up at 5am to go fish with our grandpa, Uncle Tommy and the neighbors taught us to waterski - and learning to line dance around the campfire actually got the attention of us as teenagers and our middle aged parents alike. And so we return again as family…owned by Anna and Roy and Anna’s sister Jenna and her husband Matty - this is our return to lake week and we can’t wait to meet you!
